Title: "A simple practical demonstration of Compressive Sensing for ESM via Gabor Transforms"
Abstract:
The presentation reviews the advantages of using a Gabor transform to represent the signals seen by Radar Electronic Support Measure (RESM) receivers, how a compact, invertible Gabor Transform can be created. and how the RESM data can be sub-sampled and then reconstructed via an undersampled Gabor Transform. The talk will then go on to describe a practical experiment where an under-sampling factor of better than 7.5, with practically perfect reconstruction, was achieved with a real recorded radar pulse.
